Real estate is forever tied to the community and the residents that call it home. With an office in Baton Rouge for several years and countless team members with roots throughout the area, this city means everything to us. So, it’s our duty to give back and support the people that have helped Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices United Properties throughout our journey.
For the third year in a row, we hosted our annual Pink Pong Tournament with all proceeds benefiting Mary Bird Perkins Our Lady of the Lake Cancer Center and Woman’s Hospital. On October 27, we invited agents and friends to bring their skills to Oasis Bar & Grill for a single elimination bracket. Although there were no real losers, Billy Leach ended the day as the overall champion – for the third year in a row!
“The event has been such a success over the past years that we’ve really had to expand. This is not just about us, this is about our entire community. We want the entire real estate family to come together and be involved,” says Jonathan Starns, Co-Owner of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices United Properties.
It’s always amazing to see the results that this tournament brings, and this time was no different. We officially raised $7,000 for donations – more than the past two Pink Pong events combined.
We’re extremely fortunate to be in a position to give back and raising awareness through community events will always be a focus for our team. We’ll see you next year!
THANK YOU TO ALL OF OUR SPONSORS!
